O papel das TIC na promoção da sustentabilidade sociocultural percecionado por artesãos de turismo criativo
Abstract
Os artesãos de destinos turísticos criativos contribuem para a diversificação da oferta turística e para a satisfação turística. Estes stakeholders são influenciados pelas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação que, por sua vez, desempenham um papel relevante na promoção da sustentabilidade sociocultural de destinos turísticos criativos. Este trabalho visa analisar o papel das TIC percecionado pelos artesãos para a promoção da sustentabilidade sociocultural de destinos turísticos criativos. Metodologicamente foram realizadas 30 entrevistas semiestruturadas a artesãos das localidades portuguesas de Barcelos e de Óbidos. A sustentabilidade sociocultural foi avaliada em torno dos construtos de aprendizagem, divulgação do património, envolvimento da comunidade local, igualdade e inclusão, inovação, preservação do património, resiliência, satisfação e vitalidade. As limitações deste estudo residem na realização das entrevistas por telefone, na existência de contactos inválidos dos artesãos certificados pelas entidades municipais e na adoção de alguns construtos de sustentabilidade sociocultural. Como principais resultados, existem diferenças significativas entre ambas as localidades, tanto no número de artesãos como nas suas perceções e comportamentos relativamente às TIC. Dos 10 pressupostos criados, dois deles são rejeitados, porque a maioria dos artesãos entrevistados não utiliza as TIC para promoverem o envolvimento da população local nas experiências criativas existentes e estes stakeholders também não utilizam as TIC para promoverem a inovação da sua oferta. É necessário consciencializar estes stakeholders para as potencialidades das TIC na promoção da sustentabilidade sociocultural.
