Criação de novas organizações: impacto das barreiras socioculturais
Abstract
O objetivo fundamental deste estudo é avaliar o impacto das barreiras socioculturais que condicionam a criação de novas organizações.
Os dados foram recolhidos de uma amostra longitudinal de 1985 a 2006, composta por 323 observações individuais de um universo de 569 potenciais empreendedores, de uma base de dados da Associação Nacional de Jovens Empresários (ANJE), tendo adotado uma abordagem metodológica quantitativa com recurso a técnicas de estatística descritiva e inferencial.
Os resultados permitem concluir que 69.0% dos inquiridos não criaram qualquer tipo de organização e destes 12.6% alegaram barreiras socioculturais. Conclui-se, ainda, que estas barreiras têm um impacto estatisticamente significativo, em função da intensidade do envolvimento do indivíduo, do desenvolvimento do projeto e das razões pessoais para a criação de uma nova organização.
